Scrolled tendril decoration

The calathos of the capital is covered over with a dense symmetrical network of large leaves and scrolled tendrils, arranged round vertical axes at the corners and the middle axis on each side. Small sideways-scrolled blossoms sprout from the tendrils.
The decoration of this capital is very similar to that of N12MS50, yet neither the plant motifs nor (and more particularly) the surface treatment are identical. It is the latter feature that represents the uniqueness of N12MS50.
