Story of Jacob
The part of this double capital facing the courtyard portrays standing male figures with heavy mantles on three sides. In previous scholarship they have been interpreted as the sons of Jacob.
In the female figure, however, one can recognize Dina, the daughter of Jacob and Leah, who had been raped by Shechem, the son of the Hamor, the prince of the land (Gen 34:1-2).
Since, however, the figures are not named, as they are in other episodes of the story of Jacob, by inscriptions, attribution of the scene is not completely definite.
